Night photography is challenging because one has to wait for the moon to set before the Milky Way is visible. When moonset happens to be just a couple hours before sunrise, the time to capture the shot is limited. This image was created at about 3:30 in the morning on a beautiful evening with a good friend helping to paint the way to Skyline Arch with warm light.
